cleaning.

Clear gutters.
Replace smoke alarm batteries.
Stock up on emergency items, such as flashlights,
batteries, water and firewood.
Seal any drafty windows or doors with caulk or
plastic.
Cover any plants that may be affected by the
weather or by the critters looking for food.
Store any lawn decorations that may break
due to the cold weather.

Place snow broom and ice scraper in
car.
Stock up on windshield wiper fluid.
Put a blanket in the trunk for emergencies along
with flashlight, first aid kit, shovel, and a candle.
