July Reminders

Filters - Check and change, if needed, AC or furnace filters.

Dryer Vent - Because built up lint can cause a fire, be sure to clean the lint filter after each use.  Check and clean the dryer vent and the hose to keep it clear.  This includes cleaning the vent on the outside of the house.  The flaps should be able to open and shut with ease.

Fire Drill - Make sure everyone in the house knows what to do in case of an emergency.  Run through a practice fire drill.  A meeting place is very important, this should be outside of the house and away from any emergency personnel.  A great place would be a neighbors porch.
