Film Canisters

This article is from the Kodak website regarding the safety of using cleaned empty canisters.  In summary, per Kodak, it is safe to reuse these canisters with food items.

• Toothbrush Protector - Cut a hole in the cap and put the toothbrush through the hole.  Place the canister over the brush and seal tightly.
• Planters for the dollhouse.  Decorate by painting then placing small flowers or greens.
• Mix paints
• The lids are perfect replacements for those lost checkers.
• Fill with rice or small pasta and glue on the lids for musical instruments for the kids.

Storage for:

• Mayo, mustard, or seasonings for lunch or picnic.  Make sure they are washed first.
• Toothpicks
• Sewing kit to leave in the camper or car.
• Thumbtacks
• Paper clips
• Change to keep in the car
• Take on vacation to keep shells, sand from the beach, or any small souvenirs.
• Nuts, bolts, screws or any small hardware.
• Seeds
• Buttons
